Armação dos Búzios, often referred to as just Búzios, is a resort town and a municipality located in the state of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Once a humble fishing village, it’s been nicknamed "Brazil's St Tropez" and is frequented by the rich and famous of the world who flock to the city to enjoy the 24 or so beaches in the vicinity.

The west coast beaches offer calm, clear waters while the east coast ones, facing the open sea draw surfers and water sports enthusiasts. Among the most popular beaches are Azeda Beach, Joao Fernandinho Beach with several bars and known for its seafood, Ferradura Beach, and Geriba beach, popular for surfing. Manguinhos beach is known for windsurfing.

The Rua das Pedras winds through the town center and features shopping, restaurants, bars and great nightlife.

Port Location – The marina at Buzios is located approximately 4 km from the town centre.

Transport Links - The Umberto Modiano Airport (Buzios) can receive corporate jets, Fokker 27 and Fokker 50 aircraft. There are presently no regular flights to Búzios.

There are bus services to Buzios from Rio and Sao Paulo.

Marina Porto Búzios and Búzios Yacht Club offer sophisticated harbors to moor your boat safely if you decide to go by sea. You can also have nautical services at Porto Veleiro in Ossos Beach.
