La Main de Massiges is a place of remembrance of the First World War located on the territory of the commune of Massiges in the department of Marne . A natural fortress dominating the Aisne valley, this hill located to the north of the village owes its name to the contour lines which draw a left hand on the ground and on the maps. The fingers are separated from it by deep indentations, which the combatants seeing them from the bottom of their trenches, called ravines.
