Koh Kong is a town in the Cardamom and Elephant Mountains region of Cambodia, adjacent to the border with Thailand. Koh Kong has long had a reputation as a “Wild West” frontier town, however with the building of the Thai- Cambodian bridge across the river, the town is becoming a modest tourist destination.
Around Koh Kong, there are islands, mountains, jungles, rivers, waterfalls, a zoo, casino, and a lot more. Popular activities include boat tours to the uninhabited Koh Kong Island and trekking in the Cardamom Mountains.
