Jangipur (more popular as RAGHUNATHGANJ) is a city in Murshidabad in West Bengal, India situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.
The town is said to have been founded by the Mughal emperor Jahangir. During the early years of British rule it was an important centre of the silk trade and the site of one of the East India Company's commercial residencies.
