Ende is the capital of the Ende Regency, located on the southern coast of Flores Island, in the East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. It is the biggest city in Flores and serves as the gateway between Flores and Sumba or Kupang.
Attractions in Ende include the Bung Karno Museum which housed the Nationalist leader Soekarno, during his years of exile in Ende. The holy mountain Kelimutu, is also a popular tourist spot. Kelimutu has three crater lakes filled with water of different colors.
