Khong Chiam is the easternmost district (Amphoe) of Ubon Ratchathani Province of Thailand. It is located at the confluence of the Moon and Mekong rivers, called the Mae Nam Song Si or 'Two Colour River'.
Khong Chiam is a very sleepy town, however visitors can use it as a base to visit the Kaeng Tana and Pha Taem national parks, which are located in Khong Chiam district.
