Koh Phangan Island is the fifth largest island of Thailand, located approximately 50 kilometres from the mainland. A large proportion of the island is classified as the “Than Sadet National Parkâ€. The island is known for its monthly full moon parties at Haad Rin Beach.
The Angthong Marine Park is a major attraction (40 km from Phangan) offering stunning scenery, crystal clear blue waters, rainforests, beaches and caves. On Koh Phangan there are many opportunities to participate in water sports, trekking, elephant riding, motor bike riding etc.
