Ko Lanta Yai Island is one of several of the Ko Lanta Islands. Known as “Big Lanta Islandâ€, it is popular with tourists seeking a more peaceful holiday than nearby Ko Phi Phi. The nearest train station to Ko Lanta is in Trang province just south of Krabi. From there, there are trains to and from Bangkok.
