Novo Airão is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Amazonas. It lies 100km to the northwest of Manaus, on the banks of the Rio Negro, and is reachable both by river and road.

Visitors to Manaus may have the opportunity to feed and swim with the dolphins. Areas potentially accessible include the Anavilhanas, Velho Airão (the ruins of the old town, and nearby petroglyphs), and perhaps the River Jaú.
