Fogo and Brava are islands in the Sotavento group of Cape Verde, located in the Atlantic Ocean.
The volcano on Fogo is its main attraction, whilst the historic city of Sao Filipe and Cha das Caldeiras in the volcanic crater receive most visitors. Brava island is unsuitable for beach tourism due to its steep shoreline.
