Digoin is a commune in the Digoin is a commune in the Saône-et-Loire department in the region of Bourgogne in eastern France. The junction of the Canal du Centre and the Canal latéral à la Loire is near Digoin. The Bourbince river flows into the Arroux in Digoin, while the Arroux Rivers flows into the Loire.

Digoin is known as a centre for pottery as well as remaining a city of water. Along the canal visitors will find ancient Romanesque art and craftsman such as basket makers, cabinetmakers, potters and glass blowers. The canal bridge is worth a visit. It is a magnificient piece of architecture which connects the central canal to the side canal from the Loire.
