Probolinggo is a city on the north coast of East Java, Indonesia. It is a port town and is the nearest town of any size to the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. The city is also famous for its mangoes, locally called mangga manalagi.
Probolinggo is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and points of natural, historical and cultural interest. These include Madakaripura Waterfall, Gili Ketapang Island, Bentar Beach, Jabung Temple and Rengganis Peak.
