Châtillon-Coligny is a commune in the Loiret department in north-central France. It is located about 22km south of Montargis and 132 km from Paris. It is a large rural village crossed by the river Loing. The scenery is beautiful with plateus, woodlands, valleys and the Loing and its tributaries.
In the village visitors can view the remains of walls and defensive towers of the 14th century and buildings of the 16th century, Historical Park with the Castle Keep, the Orangerie, the "house of Colette" and the museum located in the old Hotel-Dieu, which is full of treasures from the Iron Age, Middle Ages and modern times .
