Moret-sur-Loing is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is a charming town with a lot of history, also a magnificent source of inspiration for Monet, Renoir and Sisley.
Moret is in a priviledged position on the edge of the forest of Fontainebleau and the banks of the River Loing. Every Saturday night from mid June to the end of September there is a Son et Lumière festival which will evoke the atmosphere and happenings of byegone days.
