Montbard is a small industrial town on the river Brenne. It is located in eastern France, a sub-prefecture of the Côte-d'Or department in the Bourgogne region. The Burgundy Canal passes through the town.
The town of Montbard is quite large with regards to others along the canal. Here you'll supermarkets, a main shopping street and a rare TGV stop, (as part of the TGV train is built in Montbard).
