Isabella Bay is located next to Baffin Island by the Davis Strait, in the Qujuqtaaluk Region of Nunavat, Canada.
Isabella Bay is the site of Canada's first National Marine Wildlife Area - a sanctuary for Bowhead whales. It is a pristine late summer and fall feeding and resting stop-over for a large proportion of the threatened Davis Strait-Baffin Bay bowhead whale population. Other abundant animals of the region include walrus, narwhal, Harp Seal, bearded seal, ringed seal and polar bear.
