Shark Island is located of the southeast coast of Koh Tao, Myanmar. It is a popular dive destination with three dive sites surrounding the island; Shark Drift, Coral Gardens and Anemone Gardens.
Marine life which may be found in deeper waters include Leopard sharks or blacktip reef sharks, but cow-tail rays, turtles, honeycomb moray eels, puffers and bat fish. Visitors to Shark Island may also bathe at its white sand beaches, go snorkeling or hike to the top of the island for a fantastic view.

Travel Links – International flights into Myanmar are limited. The usual way to get into Myanmar would be to fly into Yangon from either Bangkok or Singapore, both which have good connections from around the world and have several flights into Yangon daily. The only other international point of entry to Myanmar is Mandalay, which is served by a weekly flight to/from Kunming.
