Zutphen is a city in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. It lies some 30 km north-east of Arnhem, on the Eastern bank of the river IJssel at the point where it is joined by the Berkel. It is an historic city, known as “Tower-city” which refers to the large number of towers.
The largest tower in Zutphen is the Wadburgkerk located at the square where the city originated. Also located here is the St.Walburgiskerk church and the old city hall.
