Dagupan is a city in the province of Pangasinan, located on the island of Luzon, Philippines. Located on Lingayen Gulf on the island of Luzon, Dagupan is the chief port and commercial and financial center of the province and Northern Luzon.
Dagupan is known as the bangus (milkfish) capital of the Philippines because of its abundance of fresh bangus. Its Bangus festival celebrations take place annually in April.
