Donsol is a sleepy fishing village in Sorsogon Province in south western Luzon, Philippines. Donsol is a popular tourist destination for viewing and swimming with whale shark. The water is so rich with plankton that whale sharks congregate here in the hundreds from February to May.
Donsol has a not so known but equally unique night Firefly tour and Shrimp-catching night tour available all-year round. Donsol is also becoming the best jump-off and base for divers to the Manta Bowl and San Miguel Island in Ticao.
