Port Sudan is the capital of Red Sea State, Sudan. Located on the Red Sea, it is the Republic of Sudan's main port city. Port location – Port Sudan is located approximately 2-3 km’s from the city centre.
Transport Links - Port Sudan New International Airport (PZU) is located close to the city. It offers international flights from Cairo and Dubai. There is also domestic route with Khartoum.
Port Sudan also have a rail link with Khartoum, trains leave every Monday at 8PM and arrives about twenty hours later. There is also a international ferry from Jeddah.
