Moffen is a small, low island north of the mouth of Wijdefjorden, on the northern coast of Spitsbergen, the largest island of the Svalbard archipelago.
Moffen island is a walrus sanctuary and nesting site for birds. Visitors can see large groups of Walruses lying together and scratching their backs in the shallows.
