Nananu-i-Ra, Fiji

Nananu-i-Ra island is located just a few kilometers off the north coast of Viti Levu, the main island of Fiji. It is a quiet relaxing island with white sandy beaches, magnificent bays and continuous sunshine. It is famous for its diving and snorkeling amongst the local coral.

There is some excellent hiking to be done on Nananu-i-Ra. You can hike around the island in about four hours. One Bay and the Nakauvadra mountain range are highlights and there is a tropical rain forest to explore, in which lies an ancient Fijian village. All over the Island there are many archeological burial sites to be discovered.
