Kadmat Island, also known as Cardamom Island, is an island belonging to the Amindivi Subgroup of islands of the Lakshadweep archipelago in India. It is located on a coral reef 5 km north of Amini Island. It has a length of 8 km. North to South and has a maximum width of about 0.5 km, having an area of a total of 3.12 km².
The island offers a natural heritage of ecology with its rich maritime wealth, pristine beaches and lagoons. Adventurers can indulge in scuba diving, wind surfing and parasailing. If you prefer, kayaks, pedal boats, sailing yachts, skiing boats and glass bottom boats are also available for hire.

Travel Links – Imdian Airlines and Kingfisher fly daily from Kochi to the airstrip at Agatti, the only one on the islands. Kingfisher Red has a daily non stop flight from Bangalore. There are boat and helicopter transfers available from Agatti to Bangaram.
The MV Tipu Sultan, MV Bharat Seema, MV Amindivi and MV Minicoy operate between Kochi and various islands in Lakshadweep. The trip takes 14-18 hours one day depending on the destination island.
