Savigsivik, Greenland

Savigsivik (Savissivik) is a settlement in the Qaasuitsup municipality in northern Greenland. Located on the northern shores of Melville Bay. It was on this island that the famous York meteorite provided the Inuit with a source of iron - until Peary removed it and sold it to an American museum.
