Ile Cocos is one of the Cargados Carajos Shaoals, a collection of low islets, coral reefs and sandbanks lying 350km north-north east of Mauritius. The islands are rich in flora and fauna. The islands are classified as a dependency of Mauritius, which is more than 300 km south, and are administered from Port Louis. The islands are part of the Mascarene Islands.
Ile Cocos is one of two of the largest islets in the region, and visits here, other than by fishermen or government personnel, are very rare. This is a tropical paradise where the beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise blue water promises a unique tropical island adventure.
