Magnetic Island is located off the coast of Townsville, in Far North Queensland, Australia. More than half the island is a National Park and there is 25km of walking tracks, several beaches and little bays.
Magnetic Island offers excellent diving opportunities and fantastic fishing. The National Park provides a haven for the native wildlife, like rock wallabies, possums, and over 100 species of birdlife.

Travel Links – Magnetic Island is only accessible by boat from Townsville, which is 8 kilometers away and which has a well served airport. There are two ferry services, both arriving at the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal: Sunferries and Fantasea Magnetic Island Passenger and Car Ferry.
