Milford Haven is a town in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It was founded as a whaling centre in the eighteenth century and grew into a major port. Pembrokeshire is an area of unparalleled beauty and boasts a wide range of attractions, including unique, cultural and historical experiences, nature reserves and miles of unspoilt coastal paths and scenery.
In the early part of the 20th century, Milford Haven was the base for a very large fishing industry, which declined in the 1950’s. A very large Marina now occupies a part of the dock basin, with local, Spanish and Belgian trawlers also using the facilities on a daily basis.
