Wala is located off the north-eastern coast of Malakula island, Vanuatu. This unspoilt paradise has pristine beaches, forests and is home to between 200-300 friendly locals. There is no electricity, telephones or roads and the transport is on foot or by dugout outrigger canoes.
While on the island, the magnificent dancing displays shouldn’t be missed. The swimming and snorkeling are excellent in the bright blue waters, and there is good selection of handicrafts which can be purchased from the stalls at the edge of the beach.
