Portrush is a town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The main part of the old town, including the railway station, most hotels, restaurants and bars, is built on a mile–long peninsula, Ramore Head.

Port Location – Cruise ships dock in Portrush Harbour. The nearest main port is located at Larne.
Transport Links – Trains run regularly between Belfast Central - Coleraine - Derry, with connecting trains from Coleraine to Portrush. High speed trains also run regularly between Belfast and Dublin. Ferry Services run between Stranraer - Belfast and Cairnryan - Larne. An overnight service also operates between Liverpool and Belfast and a conventional ferry runs from Fleetwood to Larne (8 hours). A seasonal service operates from Troon to Belfast during March-October. George Best Belfast City airport is located 58 miles South of Coleraine, Belfast International airport at Aldegrove is about 37 miles south of the area and City of Derry Airport is only a 45 minute drive away.
