Corner Brook is a city located on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Located on the Bay of Islands at the mouth of the Humber River, the city is the largest population centre in the province outside the Avalon Peninsula.
Visit Corner Brook’s downtown area which has over 4 kms (2.5 miles) of beautiful red interlocking brick sidewalks, heritage lights, and green spaces. While visiting the downtown shops and galleries, look for marble inscriptions that provide a history of the unique heritage buildings. West Street and Broadway are the two main streets which make up the downtown area. Other attractions include the Captain James Cook National Historic Site, the Heritage Tree and the Man in the Mountain .
