Ystad, Sweden

Ystad is a city in the traditional province of Scania in Sweden and the seat of Ystad Municipality, Skåne County, in the southernmost part of the country. It is an historical town which boasts more than 300 well restored red half-timbered houses, historic buildings, museums and churches.

Close to Ystad, there is the megalith "Ale´s stones", one of the greatest ship-settings in the world, situated on a small hill directly by the Baltic Sea. The "Ale´s stones" is situated in Kåseberga, a small fishing village. Here you can buy fresh fish from the Baltic or just eat a smoked herring sandwich.
