Portbury is the port for Bristol and nearby Bath and is located in Somerset, England. The Royal Portbury Dock is part of the Port of Bristol, and is situated on the western side of the mouth of the Avon, where the river joins the Severn estuary.
Both are cities steeped in history going back to Roman times. They are also modern bustling cities with all the attractions and facilities you'd expect of major centres.

Transport Links - Bristol International Airport is situated 8 miles south-west of Bristol city centre and offers scheduled flights from major European cities. Bristol Temple Meads station is located approximately 15 minutes walk from the city centre and has regular inter-city and regional train services. National Express operate services to Marlborough St Coach station, located in the city centre, from cities throughout the UK including London.
It is easy to get around Bristol on foot, however there are also local buses, trains and ferries. Bikes are available for hire and taxis are available but are expensive.
