Point Adolphus is located on Chichagof Island, in the Icy Strait located in the heart of the Tongass National Forest, Alaska. It is best known for being an excellent viewing area for Humpback whales from Mexico and Hawaii, who come here in summer to feed.
This coastline is ideal for sighting sea lions, porpoise, orca, and sea birds. Popular activities in this area include camping, fishing, wildlife viewing, sea kayaking and of course whale watching.
