Loch Ewe is located in the Scottish Highlands. At the head of the Loch is the beautiful village of Poolewe where the River Ewe tumbles under the bridge, forming a small bay. In earlier times it was a bustling little port where boats would ply between the mainland and the Outer Isles.
Continuing around the bay is the headland, where Inverewe Gardens overlook the village of Poolewe. Inverewe Garden is recognised as one of the finest gardens in Europe, with a plant collection of international importance.
