Qaanaaq (Thule), Greenland

Qaanaaq is the main town in the northern part of the Qaasuitsup municipality in northwestern Greenland. It is a remote location which can be difficult to reach.

Qaanaaq and the surrounding four villages are the perfect setting to experience Inuit culture and learn about this unique way of life. Sometimes, the locals will also organize traditional drum dances, kayaking lessons, and concerts where local choir singers perform in national costumes.
