Riedenburg is a town in the district of Kelheim, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the river Altmühl, 16 km (10 mi) northwest of Kelheim and 29 km (18 mi) northeast of Ingolstadt.
Riedenburg has two ruined castles, Rabenstein and Tachenstein, situated atop the rocky heights surrounding the town. A third one, Rosenburg Castle, Riedenburg's best known building, It houses a falconry center together with the Museum of Falconry, and the flying displays with falcons, kites and eagles attract visitors from far and wide.
