Nanuya Lailai island is located in the Yasawa group of islands in Fiji. It is situated north of Nanuya Levu, which served as a location for the film The Blue Lagoon, separated by a narrow channel. A beach on the west of the island is leased by Blue Lagoon Cruises, nearby is the island's one luxury resort.
There is a small settlement of Enendala at the base of a hill on the island's eastern beach. There area seven related families living there, who operate a small number of backpacker hostels.
Activities on the island include walking over the island to see the native cassava gardens, great views of the other islands and the Blue Lagoon. Snorkeling in the Blue Lagoon is a must as it has been declared a fish sanctuary and has beautiful fish and coral. Scuba diving is also available.
