Tomman island is a small offshore island located off the south-western tip of Vanuatu’s Malakula island. It is a beautiful tropical island with white sand beaches and crystal clear blue water.
The welcoming islanders of Tomman are known for their tradition of head binding, which reshapes an infant’s skull into a more elongated shape which they associate with power, holiness, and intelligence.
