Koolama Bay is located at the mouth of the King George River. It is the site where the 340ft vessel ‘Koolama was beched , following an attack by the Japanese in WWII.
The King George River is a river in the Kimberley of Western Australia. It is 125 km in length, discharging into the Timor Sea. The scenery is breathtaking, particularly the King George Falls which has a drop of 80 meters.
