Miladummadulu Atoll contains about 100 islands and islets lying principally on the E side; over 40 of these were populated in 1970, and almost all are wooded, with palms predominating. It is made up of Northern (Shaviyani) Atoll and the Southern ( Noonu) Atoll. Manadhoo is the capital of Noonu Atoll.
Coral reefs, pristine beaches and gentle breezes are what attract most visitors to the Miladummadulu Atoll on the Maldives Islands.
