Samos, Greece

Samos is one of the most beautiful islands of Greece in the east Aegean. It has been spared the worst excesses of mass tourism and has something for everyone, from big beach hotels to rustic hill villages, miles of sand, towering mountains, stunning scenery, attractive coves and lush forests.

Although Samos has several fine archaeological sites, the island is most noted for its excellent beaches and abundant opportunities for hiking, cycling, and windsurfing. It is also well known for its ouzo and olives.
