Calvi is a city on the French island of Corsica and the biggest tourist centre of the island proper. It is located on the northwest coast of the island, 95 km from Bastia and 24 km from L'Île-Rousse.
Seen from the water, Calvi is a beautiful spectacle, with its three immense bastions topped by a crest of ochre buildings, with a hazy backdrop of mountains.
Social life in Calvi focuses on the restaurants and cafés of the quai Landry, a spacious seafront walkway linking the marina and the port.
