Pucisca, Brac Island

Pučišća is a municipality in Croatia on the island of Brač in the Split-Dalmatia county. It is located at the bottom of a deep bay which splits into two smaller bays on the north east coast of the island, approximately 15km from the town of Supetar. It is a picturesque town which features outstanding historical monuments and architecture.

There are many other sights on the Island Brac. Recommended is a visit to Dragon's cave near village Murvica on the south side of island. Hermitage of Blaca, that can be reached from Vidova gora mountain or from the Blaca beach. Vidova gora moutain is the highest mountain of all Adriatic islands. It has a great view to the Zlatni rat beach, place Bol and islands Hvar and Vis. Dominican monastery in Bol has a great collection prehistoric items, amphoras and numismatic collection. Museum of the island in the village Škrip.
