Sipan is the largest of the Elaphiti Islands, 17 km northwest of Dubrovnik, Croatia. It is a peaceful location which offers beautiful inland scenery, shady olive groves and the occasional hamlet. Most of the island is covered by the Sipan field which is made up of vineyards, fig trees and olive groves.
Attractions on the island include the 16th century Summer palace of Vice Stjepović SkoÄibuh, the Pakljena tower and the church of the St. Spirit which is the only one of its kind on the Adriatic coast.
