Porto Santo Stefano is a seaport town on the west coast of Italy. It is the capital of the municipality of Monte Argentino and is situated 150 km northwest of Rome. It is a lively bustling port town with an excellent fish market, a large variety of restaurants on terraces overlooking the sea. The seaside promenade is the perfect place for strolling and admiring the yachts moored in the harbor.
The Spanish fortress is an excellent location to admire the magnificent seaviews after walking the picturesque alleys and stairways of the historic center. There are also many beautiful beaches, a panoramic coastal road with the remains of several towers built during Spanish supremacy.
