Täsch is a municipality in the district of Visp in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. The village is 1,449 metres above sea level and is home to around 998 people. It is situated 6 km from the world-famous tourist region of Zermatt and its majestic landmark - the Matterhorn. Täsch is effectively the gateway to this huge and amazing mountain range.
As well as being the gateway to Zermatt, Tasch offers impressive hospitality with with traditions, customs and an old part of the village, with romantic square and well-preserved houses, dating from 15th century.
