Hammamet is a popular tourist town in Tunisia. It is located in the south east of the northern peninsula of Cap Bon in the Governorate of Nabeul, on the northern edge of the Gulf of Hammamet.

There are a lot of trains stopping at Bir Bou Regba (Rekba) from Tunis which is along the main train line and only 6km from Hammamet. You can easily take a taxi from the Bir Bou Regba (Rekba) station to wherever you want to go in Hammamet. There are fewer trains from Tunis directly to Hammamet.
