The island of Losinj is a Croatian island in the northern Adriatic Sea, in the Bay of Kvarner. With over 2600 hours of sunshine a year, the island has become a popular destination for German and Italian tourists in the summer months.
Mali Losinj is the biggest place on the island situated in the Augusta bay, rich in fish, Lošinj is the best-known sport and fishing centre of the Adriatic. A special curiosity of Mali Lošinj are its dolphins for which there is a dedicated marine reserve.
