The city of Licata stands between the Salso river – Sicily’s second river – and the Licata Mount, in the Agrigento province of Sicily, Italy. It is a major seaport developed at the turn of the twentieth century, with numerous attractions for visitors to enjoy.
The Town Hall and Town Museum are worthy of a visit. Among the city’s noble palazzi are Frangipane, Serrovira ,Caro-Dominici and Bosio Palaces. Licata shore with its beautiful sand beaches is also very attractive.
